AHA Dive Centre originally had small beginnings, working out of a 35m2 training and shop area. It consisted of 1 instructor and 2 dive masters in 1995.
Gradually the levels of experience increased and the facility got so large that it opened a new facility at Centurion Crescent in 1997. Since then it has grown from strength to strength.
At this stage there are 11 instructors attached to the centre, doing training from open water diver to instructor trainer.
The training by experienced instructors is primarily focused on safety and student enjoyment and is done to an International standard, which ensures that your qualification will be recognized and accepted at all the reputable dive destinations in the world.
Training takes place over a 1-week period and consists of 3 evening lectures and 2 pool days in heated pools, a total of approximately 20 hours of instruction. They can furthermore accommodate distance training should you prefer this option, through their unique Home Study program. Included in the price is your training pack, textbook, logbook and dive tables.
