Such a long time since I've traveled the Kwa-Zulu Natal Coastline. The weather is fantastic and the holiday towns like Umhlanga has a lot to offer the holiday goers!

Take a day to relax at Ushaka Marine World and be sure to have the whole family entertained!

Good day

With all the public holidays the past week, I'm sure many of us have discovered something uniquely South African in our off time. The country is filled with interesting little towns, I call them gems.

I've spent a weekend in Stanford and surrounds when I literally stumbled across the Missionary town of Elim">.

Such a unique town, absolutely worth a visit when traveling through the Overberg!

Let us know where you've been and what you've seen?

South African food and wine celebrates the country's rich cultural heritage.

With 15 different wine routes across the Western Cape of South Africa, our red and white wines have been earning rave reviews internationally for 300 years.

Most of the estates offer wine tasting opportunities. Enjoy the last days of summer to explore the Boland and its wonderful wine farms.

Good day

I have recently read that the popular website Forbes.com has published its list of the “World’s Most Beautiful Cities”.

For this year Cape Town has been included, along with cities such as Paris, Vancouver, Sydney, Florence, Venice and London.

The website states: “Since beauty is subjective, we surveyed city specialists from a range of fields, including urban planning, architecture and sustainable development.”

According to the website, Raymond Levitt, director of the construction programme in civil and environmental engineering at Stanford University, and one of the judges, said “open spaces” were what made Cape Town special.

For sure something we are very proud of!
