There are 72 tent or caravan sites available for guests to use with power points. There are communal ablution and cooking facilities with 24-hour boiling water, electric hotplates and washing up facilities.
One of the 'new generation' camps, Berg en Dal Restcamp in the Kruger National Park, is situated on the bank of Matjulu Spruit and is surrounded by rocky hillsides.
On the northern and southern sides dry riverbeds and a dam border the camp. There are large trees along the streams and dry riverbeds. Special care has been taken to preserve the natural vegetation in the camp. Berg-en-Dal is also the only camp set in a rugged mountain environment and is built on the site of a prehistoric settlements.
