
You've heard about climbing, seen it or even tried it and want to give it a bash. Or perhaps you've been on real rock but now would like to consolidate what you've seen and learnt and be able to lead sport routes. Climbing is a great way to tone those muscles and it's much more fun than sweating in a gym or pumping weighs, giving you a whole body work-out.
Aimed primarily at the overseas market, Big African Adventures offer guiding to some of the best places in South Africa. Places that don't even register on the tourist map because they are remote, access is often difficult - there are no signposts and there are generally no facilities. In most cases you be the only ones there.
Consists of all crags in and around Gauteng; including Northcliff, Strubens Valley, Melville Koppies, Chosspile, Radioactive crag, Fernkloof and bouldering areas like the the Keg. Wellingtons Dome and Vrede will also be included as there is no guide available for the areas yet.
