Their main focus is birds and, in particular, endemic birds. The dry west supports a very significant number of Southern African endemics or near endemics. They do, however take time out to enjoy the wide mammal and floral diversity and the great scenic beauty of this part of Southern Africa. The pace is entirely yours.
They specialise in customised small group tours. Their site offers a diversity of tour options throughout South Africa all of which can be customised to meet your particular needs. Tours range from half a day to seventeen days in duration.
Accommodation is comfortable and en suite and they take the opportunity to introduce you to traditional South African foods and cultures. They carry a maximum of five passengers per air-conditioned mini bus - everyone has a window.
The indigenous flora of the area comprises the smallest of the six floral kingdoms of the world. This wondeful array of protea, erica, bulbous plants, succulents and spring annuals supports more than 200 relatively easily seen bird species of which over 60 are endemic to Southern Africa. These endemics include 6 species unique to the mountain fynbos vegetation of the area.
