This beautiful Karoo farm is a few hundred yards from the national road between Springfontein and Gariep Dam where the hosts will see to all your needs with typical Karoo hospitality.
The false Karoo vegetation and quaint hills give rise to the name of the farm "Boschrand". The Guest Farm is part of a working sheep farm, as such they live close to nature. They strive to protect vulnerable species like the aardvark and aardwolf which inhabit the farm.
Furthermore interesting antelope species like Springbuck, Gemsbuck, Mountain Reedbuck and Eland can be viewed in the area. An abundant bird life also waits impatiently to be appreciated.
A huge lapa allows for leisure and true Karoo conviviality. You can relax in the inviting garden or walk to the farm dam. Small conferences of up to 16 people can be accommodated for.
There are large shady trees and they serve delicious Karoo Lamb dinners. Farm animals and activities for children, birdwatching and hiking.
