Their single-minded goal is to produce a wine that would create a memorable tasting experience and at the same time embody the intimate and personal nature that their boutique vineyard had to offer. The Wymas named their farm and brand Cape Hutton, after the soil type on the farm.
From the vine to the cellar, Cape Hutton wines embodies a harmonious blend between man and environment. This is a romantic relationship, it’s essence is derived from passion,and gives rise to the call: inspire, imagine and indulge.
The cellar at Cape Hutton was designed and strategically positioned at the foot of the vineyards, a stones throw away from the main farmhouse. The cellar plays a pivitol role in the growth phase of the wine, since it is here that the wine grows in stature through complex development, establishing it's ultimate character and quality.
