With the abundance of bird and plant life, South Africa is a nature lover’s paradise with nature reserves across the country. Nine National Botanical Gardens are situated throughout the country in 5 of South Africa's 9 different biomes.

With more than 20 National Parks in South Africa, including two of the world's most renowned wildlife reserves, the Kruger Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, plus many Private Game Reserves, your venture to any of the South African Parks will transfer you into another world.

Table Mounyain National ParkSouth Africa remains blessed with abundant wildlife. The game reserves certainly belong to South Africa’s top attractions. Here visitors can view some of the over 200 mammal species and many parks are home to the big five (lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard).

South Africa's animal sanctuaries take in large numbers of injured or vulnerable animals and offer visitors a rare and exciting opportunity to get close to the animals. Another animal experience can be enjoyed at one of the country’s zoo's. There is quite a variety of oceanariums activity to enjoy in South Africa, but the most famous are the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town and Durban’s Ushaka Marine World.

South Africa is riddled with caves and caverns - the most well known being the Sudwala Caves in Mpumalanga, the Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, and the archaeologically important Sterkfontein Caves in Gauteng.
