South African lakes and dams has become a very popular holiday and weekend destination as many types of water sports are practiced on the dam. Their vast green surrounds offers the ideal environment for cyclists and runners alike or opportunity to enjoy a summer picnic.

One of the largest dams in KwaZulu-Natal, Albert Falls Dam is a popular playground for sailors, canoeists, twitchers, hikers, horse riders and fisherfolk. |
