Dinky's Dunes is situated 5 km from the N14 between Kakamas and Pofadder, 30 km from Pofadder in the heart of the Bushmanland.
Two guided trails of 20 km, wind around the dunes, mainly traversing the spines and offering panoramic views over the plains. During the winter rain season these plains are covered in colourful Namaqualand flowers.
The duration of each route varies between 2-5 hours, depending on the number of vehicles. Bookings for 2-12 bakkies at a time are welcome. The route caters for drivers of various levels of experience with interesting technical challenges.
There are also two guided trails of 20 km for quad bikes mainly on top of the dunes with lovely views and various spots to play in the red sand dunes.
Their camping site is situated in an old quarry hole and is equipped with a running toilet, hot shower and a braai.
