We offer shark diving all year round from our base at Rocky Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.Come and snorkel or dive with our Blacktip sharks (all year round), Tiger sharks (Summer), Raggedtooth sharks (winter) and a possible encounter with Zambezi & hammerheads.
Diving with Sharks is a specialist in shark diving in KwaZulu-Natal (Aliwal Shoal & Rocky Bay reef systems), Shark awareness courses, snorkelling with sharks, casual reef diving (Aliwal Shoal & Rocky Bay reef systems) and the Sardine Run.
We base ourselves and launch from Rocky Bay (Park Rynie). Rocky Bay is a 10 minute drive south from Scottburgh and a 15 minute drive south from Umkomaas. It is easily accessible and the area boasts a large number of excellent accommodation & restaurant options. The launch site is small and personal and offers a more personal experience for divers & snorkellers, with accommodation & restaurant/pub facilities within walking distance of the launch site.
Diving with Sharks is owner run and managed by Debbie Smith (PADI MSDT instructor - SRI (Shark research institute) international field agent - first woman in Africa to be selected and inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame, (WDHOF) worldwide for outstanding achievements in diving, safety & conservation).
