Dornier Wines is located on two estates, both with long traditions. The history of Keerweder goes back to 1694 and the Homestead farm is host to one of the oldest wine cellars in the area. The Dornier family bought the first farm in 1995, planted most of the vineyards and opened a new cellar in 2003.
The Dornier family has a proud heritage of innovation, creativity and perfection and this can be seen in how the wines are made. The team work as one and is united by some common beliefs: that the quest for perfection doesn't allow average to be good enough; in the courage to be individualistic; and that tradition is a positive base for innovation.
Dornier offers three ranges of Wines. Their Donatus Range comprises the flagship red and white blends. They combine a distinctive local character with individual style. The dornier Range comprises single variety wines from the Stellenbosch vineyards. They are characterised by clean fruitiness, concentration and perfect balance. The range includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Merlot and a Pinotage. And the Cocoa Hill Range offers lively fruit, uncompromised pleasure, and great value. The range includes a Chenin Blanc, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Rosé and a Red Blend.
