Drakensberg Quad Tracks operate from Cathedral Peak Hotel in the Central Drakensberg. They offer various fun activities suited for everyone, whether it be families at leisure or corporate companies looking for a nice break from the stresses of work. Their office is situated at the entrance of the golf course, and this is where all the activities will take place and start. Make sure to visit them when you are in the area. You will never regret it!
Their track meanders through the foothills of the Drakensberg up to Lake William for a halfway stop, where you can enjoy light refreshments. The elevation of this spot allows breath taking views of Cathedral Peak, the Inner and Outer Horns, Cleft and Champagne Castle in the Central Drakensberg.
Their fully automatic and semi automatic, bikes make this ride enjoyable for the less and more experienced riders. Their aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable ride for the whole family; therefore lessons can be given prior to the ride. These rides are suitable for persons aged 12 years and older, depending on their ability. Smaller children can also ride with a parent at a minimal fee.
Children younger than 12 are now able to enjoy a quad bike ride on our mini quad track, where they can do as many laps as they please. The activity was thoroughly tested and pronounced a firm favourite by some of Cathedral Peak hotel’s strictest critics.
