The Hout Street Gallery was established in 1975. From small beginnings, it has grown to be the foremost of its kind in the Western Cape, showcasing works by both established and new South African artists. The Gallery is an extension of the owners home, which is Georgian in style, and boasts the oldest original shop front in Paarl.
The Gallery has four large exhibition rooms and the adjoining upmarket gift shop offers a wide range of gifts and crafts, ceramics, bronzes and hand-blown glass and also stocks a comprehensive range of Carrol Boyes functional art.
