The difficulty ranges between grade 1 and grade 4 with the most difficult area which is in the mountains. The 4x4 routes on the reserve vary from easy to extremely difficult, with river sand and rocky outcrops some of the challenges for both the inexperienced and experienced driver. Some routes can also be driven with a 2x4 vehicle.
