La Chataigne is a relatively small farm, producing around 150 tons of grapes. Out of these grapes, they hand-select only a small portion to produce about 12,000 bottles under their own label. They do this mainly to satisfy their own ideal of what truly great wine should taste like.
The grapes are hand-selected to create a style that suits their way of life - fresh, fruity, elegant and accessible to both pallet and pocket.
Instead of ordinary labels they have created a more fun and personal style - the vintage and name of the wine are handwritten directly onto each bottle.
You are welcome to contact them for a wine tasting on appointment.
