Le Manoir de Brendel planted the vinyards at a ratio of 80 percent red and 20 percent white varieties. The white cultivars are Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The red are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinotage and Shiraz.
All grapes are harvested by hand in from selected low yielding vines. On sorting tables they remove all bunches which do not meet the quality standard. Le Manoir de Brendel stands for attention to detail according to centuries old tradtion of winemaking.
Their wine tasting is an enjoyable lecture done by their specially trained staff. They do not only offer to taste their wines, the guest gets to know the basics of a professional wine tasting.
They use their library of scents to encourage the guest to identify the different aromas of wine. They furnish their guests with information material to take home and to be used in future wine tasting.
