The Luphisi 4x4 trail starts from the Luphisi Tented Camp 40km east of Nelspruit where it enters the rural area of Daantjie and Luphisi. The trail is an exciting mix of scenery and local cultural activities in an access of 50km and takes between 6 and 8 hours to complete.
The route is not too difficult, although lowrange required, followed with sand, rocks, river crossings and the magnificent climb up a huge granite boulder for the midday break and picnic. A section of the route is along the border of the Kruger National Park. Ideal for tree and bird spotting with the family.
