Maritzburg Golf Club was established in February 1886, and the firts official competition was played by its members on 14th June 1886. This makes Maritzburg Golf Club the second oldest golf club in South Africa and the first golf club to host a tournament before Royal Cape Country Club.
The golf course has lush, smooth cynodon greens, pine trees line many of the fairways and water hazards feature on seven holes and numerous bunkers. With slopey greens, this course will test your skills to play even par.
