Millstream is situated about 4km outside of Dullstroom. The area is a Mecca for fly-fishermen. Because of its altitude (2076m), the weather is a lot colder than the rest of the country (which means good fishing).
Millstream is a 400ha game farm with zebra, blesbuck, springbuck, and grey rhebuck, but its main attraction is the trout fishing.
There are thirteen weirs and 10 dams, two of which are catch-and-release dams. This is what makes Millstream unique; it caters for all fly-fisherman, from the novice to expert.
Millstream is also close to the towns of Machachadorp and Belfast. It is a Highveld haven as I like to describe it and supports a fascinating variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, plants and of course fish, namely the rainbow and brown trout.
Please note that this is a fly fishing resort only.
