Nestled in a mountain valley and combined with the South African summer, sets the unique location and facilities for a perfect ski. The owners of Mofam River Lodge and Ski School stumbled upon this paradise in 2000. They originally bought the farm so that their children could continue with their sport, water-skiing. They employed a coach for them and then it developed into a professional ski school.
Now the skiers came from all over - Western Cape, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Germany, Switzerland and Holland and they need a place to stay. To they started the Mofam River Lodge. The Lodge offers accommodation in 10 chalets at the lodge and 2 private self catering river chalets.
Located in the Elgin Valley stunning, peaceful, rustic, unique and close enough to Cape Town to enjoy the tourist attractions as well as the wine regions. This Ski School is the ideal training ground for professional skiers as well as recreational skiers and their families.
The Ski School is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 09:00 - 18:00.
