Here you will find a warm welcome to our backpackers home in the suburbs of Mthatha. We are in a safe area away from the noises of the city but close enough to enjoy all Mthatha has to offer on foot or with our shuttle. Mthatha Backpackers is 5km from the City Centre and close to shops and restaurants.
Mthatha Backpackers has excellent backpacker hostel facilities and is fully serviced till 16:30 daily. Mthatha Backpackers caters for every aspect of the backpacking traveler with dorms, private rooms with en-suite, self catering or meals on request.
We have a small swimming pool with an enclosed lapa area in the back garden. There you can enjoy a few drinks with fellow travelers and play some pool or darts. There is a fully equiped self-catering kitchen and a communal lounge with full Satellite Television on a Big Screen TV, perfect for movies and updates on sport events. There is a laundry services available on request.
Mthatha Backpackers offers a tour to the Nelson Mandela Museum and a tour to the Tsitsa Falls.
