This lovely parkland course with a stream running through the entire length of the course, is where Bobby Locke won the SA Open in 1935. The course was recently upgraded to the wonderful new layout and is a dare challenge of golf both for the beginner and the more seasoned player.
The par 72, 18-hole Parkview Golf course features bent grass greens and kikuyu fairways and is beautifully laid out in a quiet, well-established suburb.
Parkview is one of the easier courses in Gauteng, with some shortish par-fours providing birdie opportunities. Great care is taken to maintain it in pristine condition even in winter. A canal runs through the course and often comes into play, so straight hitting is a considerable asset.
