The museum is located in the city center of Pretoria which makes it convenient to those visiting the city. The museum displays the art work and possessions of one of South Africa's best known artists, Jacob Hendrik Pierneef.
There are various, temporary, exhibitions, showing wood carvings, sculptures, botanical drawings and so forth from this prolific artist, but this one is permanent.
Visitors to the house can take a break form the art work and enjoy a coffee or a drink in the in-house coffee shop. The entrance is free.
