
Polokwane Golf Course is a 18 holes, par-72, rating 72, 6 253 metres golf course. The Polokwane Golf Course has bent grass greens, Kikuyu fairways and 14 water hazards.
Founded in 1863, the Polokwane Golf Club was virtually a desert. However, as the years progressed, so did the course, and it is now rated one of the best with 700 members and bent grass greens.
The clubhouse at Polokwane Golf Course boasts an excellent halfway house, changing rooms, braai area and function hall. The bar creates its own atmosphere, where once inside you just don't want to go home.
The club is very proud to have Retief Goosen, 2001 U.S. Open Champion as a previous club professional. Other notables include Callie Swart and veteran Ray Earle who have both achieved Springbok colours.
