Pretoria Golf Club, or Pretoria West as it is popularly known, is steeped in history. It was established in 1894, which makes it the oldest club in Pretoria.
According to reports, President Paul Kruger used to visit the club in his stately carriage or luncheon engagements. A portion of the clubhouse was utilised by British officers during the South African War (1899 - 1902).
With over 100 years of golf to look back on, a great sense of tradition exists at Pretoria Golf Club.
