Ridgemor wines, is located in one of the prime wine areas of the Western Cape, Somerset west. The wines were named after the name of the Farm - Ridgemor.
Dating back to 1670, Ridgemor is one of the oldest wine farms in the Somerset West area. In fact, the name "Ridgemor", which was established in 1862, derives from its original owners, Ridge and Morris.
The vineyards are exposed to the cool breezes of the ocean and the soil is of outstanding quality. From the 110 ha of land, currently 35 ha is planted with vines.
For your pleasure, only the very best of the grapes were hand-picked, as all the components for the wines are sourced from the farm's very specific and carefully identified grapes so that they can meet their high standard of quality.
