Saddle Creek Ranch offer horseback riding with a difference, riding western style on "well trained, obedient calm and friendly" trail horses, with various rides in to the bushveld and mountain foothills.
All the rides are accompanied by experienced trail guides and trained staff. Two guides go out with all of the rides and if required the more experienced riders will go with on with one guide for trotting and cantering, whilst the other guide stays with the slower group who want a more relaxed trail ride. The groups meet up during the ride.
We have horses suitable for everyone, If you are a total beginner or an experienced rider.
Western style riding is becoming more popular and Saddle Creek Ranch is a safe place where you can learn to ride like a real cowboy and have loads of fun.
We also offer pony rides for children from the age of 2 to 12 years of age. The children are lead by our friendly and competent groom through through the farm. Our ponies are very quiet, and gentle and the grooms look after the children with care and love.
