'Die Fonteine', home to Somerbosch Wines is situated in the Helderberg area of the Stellenbosch region. The cool Atlantic sea breeze combines with other terroir elements on the farm to develop the complex nature of Somerbosch wines.
Since 1995, the branded premium label - "Somerbosch” - and later the entry-level label “Poker Hill" have become synonymous with the fine wines produced in this region. Our ranges of wines are innovative and varied, appealing to a wide range of palates & are in demand both locally and in various European countries.
During each vintage, we also aim through careful selection of grapes from our own specific vineyards and special care and attention, to create a wine worthy of the title Somerbosch Kylix – our Estate blend label. This wine will be released in a limited edition only, in vintages dictated by nature and will be produced with the connoisseur and serious wine lover in mind.
