The Cape Peninsula is a rocky peninsula that juts out for 75 km into the Atlantic Ocean at the southern point of Africa with Table Mountain forming its famous northern end. At the foot hills of the mountain lies Cape Town and the Table Mountain National Park stretches south to Cape Point.
