Encounter
will accept submissions on any travel related topic as long
as it is related to Southern Africa. We will not publish any
work that demonstrates discrimination, sexism, racism, or
any other -ism. We ask only that it be informative and/or
thought-provoking without being offensive.
Encounter is a free magazine and does not pay for
submissions.
Please send either as a Microsoft Word attachment or within
the body of your email. (Preferred length of 600 words with
a limit of 850)
Photos are welcome and if you wish to include a picture(s)
or a graphic with the article, please send it to us as a
JPEG attachment scanned at 72dpi and no larger than 100k per
picture or graphic.
We will reply as soon as possible. Please note that articles
not used in the next issue may be carried over for
subsequent issues. In this case we will notify you via email
of which issue your submission will be included in. Accepted
articles will be indexed and archived.
