At Waxit we take great pride in our candles, using traditional hand-crafted techniques to ensure that you will receive quality candles.
The quality of a candle is dependent on the quality of raw materials used in the candle. At Waxit we go to extreme lengths to ensure that we use the finest of raw materials.
All the raw materials used in our candles are imported from either Europe or the United States of America. We only use raw materials that are specifically developed for candles.
Each candle has it own recipe that has been developed and tested in our burning room to ensure a well scented, non-drip, slow burning candle.
Our factory is located in an old redundant fish factory that we have started to renovate in January 2004. The atmosphere created by the old wooden beams and walls build with bricks made from shell gravel adds to the character of our hand made candles.
St Helena Bay is rich in history and in atmosphere. It is also one of the fastest growing holiday residential areas on the West Coast. It is the only place on the West Coast where you can see the sun rise over the sea. We also have the most romantic sunsets!
